WHat is the Project?
A community-driven art initiative inviting those impacted by the 2025 fire to share memories, words, and images—brought to life through the work of artists in the form of living digital archives and handcrafted miniature dioramas.
Our towns
Palisades and Altadena—two distinct towns united by the devastation of separate fires—now come together through shared memory, storytelling, and a collective vision to rebuild with resilience and art.
founder
Founded by Luca Hanazawa Dal Bello, this project began as a personal tribute to memory and has grown into a collective effort to preserve, heal, and rebuild through art.
our mission
Our mission is to honor the spirit of our fire-impacted community by connecting residents through shared memories, personal stories, and collaborative art. By pairing community-submitted experiences with the creative vision of artists, we aim to preserve the past, heal through expression, and help rebuild a stronger, more united future—one rooted in fire-resilient homes and hope. Through this living digital gallery and a physical exhibition planned for 2026, we celebrate the beauty of belonging and the power of art to bring people together.
